Aerofil to produce hand sanitizer to help fight COVID-19

With supplies of hand sanitizer running low across the globe in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Aerofil worked closely with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to gain temporary approval status and begin the production of hand sanitizer. Aerofil will produce hand sanitizer for health care personnel and for consumers.

The team has worked around the clock to shift production in order to produce its first batch of hand sanitizer as soon as possible. Using the World Health Organization’s specified formula, Aerofil intends to produce an estimated 200,000 6-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer within the first week and will continue production during these unprecedented times.

Aerofil will donate this hand sanitizer to local hospitals and community first responders.  Additionally, they plan to partner with existing and new customers in retail outlets to make hand sanitizer available for consumers.

Daniel Wright, Aerofil’s President & CEO commented, “These are extraordinary times, and Aerofil is proud to join forces with many manufacturers, distilleries, and other public and private companies as we collectively fight the coronavirus.”
